We’ve just returned from an incredible ASTA Travel Advisor Conference (TAC) 2025 in Salt Lake City and what an inspiring experience it was! It was amazing to see so many familiar faces and to welcome new ones into our ASTA family. Our Southern California Chapter was proudly represented, with many of our Board members in attendance, learning, networking, and continuing to raise the bar for professionalism in our industry. We’re beyond thrilled to share that two of our very own SoCal ASTA leaders were honored on the national stage: Honoring Tama Holve – Southern California ASTA Chapter President of the Year It is my absolute honor to recognize a truly outstanding leader in our industry. Someone whose dedication, vision, and passion have elevated the Southern California ASTA Chapter to new heights. I’d like to celebrate our ASTA Chapter President of the Year Tama Holve! Tama’s leadership over the past seven years has been nothing short of extraordinary. Under her guidance, the chapter has doubled its Board of Directors, launched monthly newsletters, and hosted consistent, valuable events for members. What an incredible time we had yesterday at our second ASTA On The Go Event held at AmaWaterways Headquarters in Calabasas! Attendees were treated to fascinating department tours and an unforgettable luncheon on the terrace by the serene creekside. It was a perfect setting to connect with fellow travel professionals and gain insight into the world of luxury river cruising. We're grateful to AmaWaterways for hosting such a special event and for providing an opportunity to explore their offerings up close. We plan to have another in September - stay tuned!
